Call for Proposals – 2024 International Reflexology Virtual Conference
The Reflexology Association of Canada
is pleased to announce that it will be hosting its
annual international reflexology conference from
May 4 – 5, 2024, virtually
The theme of the conference is
(Research, Integration, Specialization, Education)
Topics that relate to reflexology research (or research in general).
This may be or include, results of research conducted, description of a trial or study about to be conducted, or how to conduct research or utilize research tools available.
The integration of reflexology (or reflexology techniques) within the larger healthcare community or information relating to reflexology therapists working alongside other healthcare professionals.
This may be or include, results of research conducted, description of trial or study about to be conducted, or how to conduct research or utilize research tools available.
The presentation of a specialized reflexology protocol,
(i.e., protocols that specializes in working specific system(s) of the body, or working with a specialized client group such as athletes, clients with diabetes, etc.)
A presentation that educates reflexology therapists on how to excel in their professional practice including, but not limited to, how to excel in advertising and/or promoting reflexology, how to effectively communicate with clients, professional boundaries, etc.
| Proposals should be no more than 300 words and include any prerequisites or applicable terms and conditions to present at the conference. Proposals may be submitted in either English or French.
Interested speakers may also state in their proposal whether their seminar could be expanded into a virtual post-conference workshop. |
A conference committee will be reviewing all conference submissions and notifying accepted presenters by mid-October 2023.
