Become RAC accredited
✔️ Enrolling in a RAC accredited Foundational Reflexology Course ensures students that they are receiving the right kind of reflexology training. Individuals who are enrolled in a foundational reflexology course can also apply to become a Student Member of RAC and receive all of the benefits that goes with it, including preferred rates on student liability insurance.
✔️ Any student who completes a Foundational Reflexology Course accredited by RAC automatically qualifies to take the RCRT™ Exam to become a professional member of the Association.
The Association accredits activities and not schools, colleges or training establishments;
however, organizations, schools, colleges, and or training establishments who have courses accredited with RAC may apply to become Corporate Members of the Association and become involved in shaping reflexology and educational standards for Canada with RAC.
Corporate members receive discounts on advertising and sponsorship opportunities as well as a complementary accreditation application per year.
The accreditation process for foundational reflexology training is now open!
Please click on the buttons below to learn more information and to submit your application.
The aim of the accreditation process is to ensure the integrity, quality, and benefits of training.
Applications will be evaluated in relation to the scope of practice of reflexology as defined by the Reflexology Association of Canada (RAC), as well as to RAC’s mission and values. Additionally, foundational reflexology training applications will be evaluated in relation to the competencies, determined by RAC, for entry into the professional practice of reflexology and assessed in the RCRT™ Exam for certified reflexology therapists wishing to become Professional members of the Association.
Beyond assessing training content, RAC evaluates training structure. RAC does not assess environment or course providers/instructors. RAC does, though, monitor accredited trainings annually and monitors outcomes. Both of these latter can affect the status of an accredited training.
